We have continued to closely monitor the pandemic, specifically here in New York State, and have dedicated our time and energy to make decisions with the well-being of our participants and local community in mind. We’ve held out hope for the August NLC, event but based on current circumstance and what is still unknown at this time, it is with everyone’s health and safety in mind that we have decided to postpone the Niagara Lacrosse Classic to our Fall event dates, October 3 -4, 2020.
We understand the challenges associated with this situation and decision. We will continue to roll with the punches and line up the best possible event in October. We are all in this together.
Your registration will automatically roll over to the new dates. Please let us know your availability on the back-up dates of Oct 3-4 as soon as possible. Additionally, we will continue to delay until balance charges until we have a clearer picture of what lies ahead, as not to add any additional burden.
Understanding that the pandemic will reshape the feel and flow of a lacrosse tournament, we have developed what we believe to be an optimal format and plan for the Niagara Fall Classic. This new 1-day, 3 game, 4 team/division format will greatly limit the number of participants; this will be a first registered, first served event and we will not be able to assist any late registrants once the capacity at each age group is reached. Again, your registration will stand and your spots secured based on your initial registration.
If you are not able to attend the event in October, please review the NLC 360 plan (sent to team admins) for your financial options, and inform us of your decision as it relates to your 2020 funds.
We hope you and yours are doing well and we look forward to getting back onto the lacrosse field with you, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Niagara Lacrosse Classic Friends,
We have been closely monitoring the pandemic, specifically here in New York State, and working to make decisions with the well-being of our participants and local community in mind. We’ve held out hope for the mid-July event but based on the timing of Phases and what is still unknown at this time, it is with everyone’s health and safety in mind that we have decided to postpone the Niagara Lacrosse Classic to our back-up date, August 22-23, 2020.
We understand the challenges associated with this situation and decision. We will continue to roll with the punches and line up the best possible event in August. We are in this together.
Your registration will automatically roll over to the new dates. Please let us know your availability on the back-up dates of August 22-23 as soon as possible.
Additionally, we will continue to delay the balance due date until we have a clearer picture of what lies ahead, as not to add any additional burden.
Understanding that the pandemic will reshape the feel and flow of a lacrosse tournament, we are working to develop a new optimal format and plan for the Niagara Lacrosse Classic. We plan to ‘re-launch’ in one-week with an adjusted format, structure and capacity all based on the safety and wellness of our participants. This new format will greatly limit the number of teams per age group. So this will be a first registered, first served event and we will not be able to assist any late registrants once the capacity at each age group is reached. Again, your registration will stand and your spots secured based on your initial registration.
Please look out for our note on June 8th when we re-launch the tournament registration and let us know if you have any questions in the meantime. We hope you and yours are doing well and we look forward to getting back onto the lacrosse field with you.

Over 30 years of producing lacrosse events from coast to coast, the common thread has been, and will always be, our community, and the experience and safety of our participants. As of today, our 2020 schedule remains on course. We will continue to monitor the situation and our decisions will reflect what’s best for the safety and welfare of all involved.
In the face of uncertainty, we must remain positive, support each other, demonstrate empathy for decision-makers, follow protocols set forth by our authorities, and remain optimistic for better days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been impacted by the Coronavirus, across our lacrosse family and the world.
In challenging times, we focus on those closest to us and are grateful for all that we do have, to include the strong camaraderie, spirit, and resilience within our lacrosse community. We maintain our focus and intention to deliver high quality, dependable, safe, and fun lacrosse experiences to our participants. We will keep all parties informed should there be any changes to upcoming programs. Best wishes to all for good health.
